Calf Scours
Our calf isolation facility allows us to hospitalize calves that require IV fluid
therapy and get them back on the right track.
In some cases of scours, on farm managment is not quite enough. Calves that can not stand, have very sunken eyes and no suckle reflex require intravenous fluids. This allows us to rehydrate them and get them back on their feet. The calf shown has regain its suckle reflex and is drinking well and standing while still on IV fluids.
