Herd Health

A herd health visit is designed to meet the veterinary needs of our dairy clients on a routine basis. It often involves reproductive work such as pregnancy testing but can also include calf dehorning, sick cow work or nutritional tweeking. Herd testing for things like Johnes, Leukosis, Neospora, Lepto can also be performed.

We are now equipped with Easi-scan ultrasound machines... benefits include early pregnancy detection, accurate assessment of the ovaries, fetal sexing ... it is exciting to be using some new technology in an effort to serve our dairies better.
