Our veterinary laboratory is important to the safety and diagnostics of our patients. The equipment is used daily to perform preanesthetic health screens. It is also used in emergencies to check for bleeding problems, low blood sugar, electrolyte problems or anemia to name a few. Other creepy crawlies such as ear or skin mites can often be identified under the microscope.
