Dr. Robin Fisher, DVM
Dr. Robin Fisher graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 1988. She has worked at Leduc Veterinary Hospital for over 15 years, and enjoys providing compassionate medical care to companion animals. Active in the local community, Dr. Robin keeps busy caring for (and organizing!) her husband Steve and their 4 active sons. |

Dr. Christy Hitesman, DVM
Dr. Hitesman graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004 and has been lending her expertise to LVH since. She enjoys the daily challenges of small animal medicine and surgery and her compassionate care often makes a difference in the lives of her patients and their owners. In her spare time she is involved with competitive obedience with her Great Dane Gilbert and volunteers with her Lab cross Dexter through the Pet Therapy Society of Northern Alberta.

Dr. Steve Radostits, DVM
Dr. Radostits graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 1988 and is the senior partner at LVH. A meticulous diagnostician and bovine surgeon, he has been committed to the Leduc area for over 2 decades. His leadership has benefitted many of his colleagues along the way. He enjoys boating, hockey and most of all spending quality time with his very busy family.

Dr. Dana Somers, DVM
Dr. Somers graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000 and has been serving the Leduc area since 2001. His expertise is bovine medicine and surgery but plays an active role in all aspects of the practice and enjoys the challenges of partnership in a busy clinic. An avid snowboarder and golfer, it is hard to believe he is not a fisherman.

Dr. Patrick Whittaker, DVM Dr. Whittaker graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. He just started with Leduc Veterinary Hospital in October 2009 after working in a dairy practice in New Zealand for a year. His primary interest is large animal practice. Away from work, Patrick enjoys playing hockey & soccer & getting away to the mountains.

Deb Aasen,
AHT
Deb has been an Animal Health technologist since 1999. She is a NAIT graduate and also has a Diploma of Equine Science from Olds College. She has worked for Leduc Veterinary Hospital since October 2004. Deb lives on an 80 acre farm near Warburg, with her husband Kory, and their 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 7 horses and a small herd of Black Angus cattle. |

Deborah Thorne,
AHT
Deb was raised on a small mixed farm in the Peace River area. She attended Fairview College as a mature student and graduated in 1992. She worked as a technician in the Edmonton area for 2 years before moving to Vancouver Island. While there, she worked at a busy mixed practice in Mill Bay for 12 years, doing everything from orthopedics to embryo transfer. She recently moved back to Alberta to be closer to her family. Deb started at Leduc Veterinary Hospital in November 2007. Her hobbies include gardening and spending time with her dog.

Jennifer Uchacz, AHT
Jennifer is a Lakeland College graduate and completed the AHT program in 1999. Jennifer joined our hospital team in April 2001. Jennifer lives on an acreage outside of Beaumont with her husband and their two daughters. She stays busy with her family, their 2 cats (one that was rescued from a dumpster) and their very energetic Boston Terrier.

Katelyn Kozak, AHT
Katelyn graduated the Lakeland College AHT program in 2011, and started working at the vet hospital straight out of college. She has alot of experience with cattle and enjoys working with small animals. Katelyn grew up on a dairy farm near New Sarepta, and is still very involved with the farm and even owns some cattle. She likes to go ski-doing in the winter, show cattle and spend time with family, friends and her 3 German Shepherd dogs. |

Ashley Quinton, AHT
Ashley graduated from NAIT in 2007. She has recently moved to Leduc from Lethbridge where she spent the last few years working in a mixed animal practice. She enjoys working with both large and small animals. Ashley loves spending time with her husband and their 2 dogs. She competes with her border collie in agility and her karelian bear dog in competitive obedience. |

Kathy Bevans,
Office Manager
Kathy Bevans, our office manager is also an Animal Health Technologist. She has been a member of our team since 1982 and has cultivated many friendships (both 2 legged and 4 legged) during that time. She presently oversees the day to day operations of the hospital while trying to keep a staff of 20 happy. Kathy takes pride in ensuring that our clients receive only the highest level of service and care at our hospital. Kathy loves to travel and has traveled the world extensively. She resides in Edmonton where she enjoys spending time with friends and family.

Lynne Goudreau,
Receptionist
Lynne is one of the friendly faces that greets you at our reception desk or on the phone. She has been a receptionist at Leduc Veterinary Hospital since 2000. She was born and raised in the Edmonton area and now lives on a farm with her husband and their 3 children. In her spare time Lynne enjoys curling, and spending time with family and friends.

Amber Ryan ,
Inventory/Reception (Currently on maternity leave)
Amber manages inventory and has been a member of our team since May 2007. Amber came to Leduc Veterinary Hospital with many years of experience in inventory control and has transitioned into her position with ease. In her spare time she enjoys watching hockey and snowboarding. In the summer she spends most of her time out at the lake relaxing and doing watersports. |

Bookkeeper
Karen is our bookkeeper and has been employed at Leduc Veterinary Hospital since August 2000. She loves Miniature Schnauzers, shopping and traveling.

Niki Underschultz, Receptionist (Currently on maternity leave)
Niki joined the team as one of our receptionists in May 2008. She grew up on a large dairy farm near Leduc. She spent much of her childhood out in the barn; both milking and making sure the barn, cats, dogs, and calves got plenty of attention. Niki spends lots of her summer camping and quading and in the winter – skiing and snowboarding.

Christina Howdle, Receptionist
Christina started working for us in 1992 and was part of our cleaning and kennel staff on and off for a total of 4 years. She recently decided to venture forward and join us in the front office. Christina has always had a big heart for animals since she was a child including rescuing homeless cats and dogs. A resident of Leduc for most of her life, she lives with her husband Robert and their three boys. Christina keeps busy by coaching, playing and watching various sports that her and her family are involved in. When they get the chance, they enjoy the outdoors camping and quadding with family and friends.
